Welcome to Weddings Greece,

My story probably sounds a lot like the start of yours. It begins with the dream of a magical wedding in the Greek islands; the sunset, the blue sea, the unforgettable memories.

I’m the founder, and I recently celebrated my own wedding in Greece. It was everything I dreamed of… but getting there was a challenge.

The planning reality

The search behind the celebration

I decided to plan the entire wedding myself, without a planner.

I quickly realised I had a massive task ahead of me. I spent countless late nights and weekends trying to find everything: the perfect venue, accommodation for my family, a photographer whose style I loved, a local hair and makeup artist—the list went on.

I found myself lost among countless blogs, old forum posts, endless social media scrolling, and dozens of different websites. The information was scattered everywhere.

There was no single, trustworthy place where I could see all my options side by side.

I couldn’t easily filter by island, compare venues based on my guest size, or find vendors that matched my specific vibe and budget.

The turning point

My “Aha!” Moment

My wedding day was perfect. But as I sat there, I kept thinking: it shouldn’t have to be that hard.

I knew there had to be a better way. If the platform I needed didn’t exist, I would use my experience as a digital native to build it myself.

And so, Weddings Greece was born.

I created this website to bring all of Greece’s incredible wedding venues and talented vendors into one beautiful, easy-to-use place.
